Thanks again,

In the past, I've tried to get the serviceable parts from Greg V, but he said you have to get the whole front cover. Maybe now with this thread we can get them.

If I post more I may even convince you to start using VE ecus...

Well they usually don't turn me down in any part I ask for. You may wait a bit if part is rare but they get it made.

It's a global market, choices are there.

You have some people with contacts in Japan.

I'm not intending to hurt anyone's interests. Greg usually has great prices!

Hi Guys,

I have an SR16VE head I will be using on my SR20DET RWD build for curcuit racing and am trying to choose what oil pump to use. I am currently using the GTI-r oil pump ( have a built engine already ) and have stripped it along with the SR16 one. The GTir pump has a outer ring diameter of 81mm and a thickness of 14mm , the SR16VE has a 77mm and 12mm thick ring . It would appear the GRI-r pump 13500 54c00 is bigger and will have a higher capacity , my only concern is will it be able to handle the revs of what the head can do ? any thoughts ?

Wrong, less capacity less pressure.

Thanks , looks like I was jumping to conclusions about the bigger rotor set pump flowing more. so the 1n501 with the smaller pump rotor is the way to go ?
