SR20ve and Fuel Pump?
For the guys making 170-190whp, what fuel pump do you use?

I have a stock N15 Pulsar VZ-R pump. Heard these are the same pumps that come in the GA15/16 versiosn of the Pulsars.

I estimate I am at 170+hp. My initial goal was 185 or so dont know this pump will suffice.

Will do a wide band test next time on the dyno.

Peace

I've heard of a lot of the stock pumps failing so would be a good safety measure to get a decent aftermarket pump. I have a walbro ready to go in when I go 2L.

I didn't say they can't flow enough if they're in good condition. I've heard from some people (more than 1) here in NZ that the stock pumps specifically in their VZ-R's were failing as in worn out after what wouldn't be considered high mileage in the US. A good stock fuel pump will be fine for that horsepower. Get a fuel pressure gauge or wideband to be sure.

Guess I should be fine then. My goal is 185hp.

No worries man. I figure things like this are pretty cheap insurance depending on how much you've invested in an engine too.
