Sweet send me $20-$50 and I'll get a set if I can get some more donations.

I think this unwillingness of SR20 owners to 'experiment' with new products is what's contributing to:

a) no one being willing to produce products for these engines.
b) the actual potential of these motors not being realized except for but a handful of people. Everyone wants to follow a xyz horse power 'recipe', instead of thinking a bit out of the box, or risking a few extra $$$ on something different.

Those who do try something different and it works, then usually keep it to themself, and you cannot blame them.

A bit of a generalization I guess, but that's how I see it.

Why are people keeping cam results to themselves? Don't we want to know if our hard earned money is going towards something worthwhile??? I sure as would, If I pay 600 dollars for a set of cams that give me NO gain anywhere and i am not just talking about peak then why would anybody buy them???? This is why I think that people that do buy a product should share atleast there gains with the community or at the very least if they are worth buying??? And like I said nobodys asking for exact power gains(well some are), but most just want to know if its worth their money!

Now this is just my opinion.

"worth the money" is subjective

Also everyone is waiting for someone else to spend their hard earned money on cams and dyno testing. Beyond just buying the cams you should degree them, dynotest them and make cam adjustments and then re-dyno.

Considering people still argue over where to put N1 cams with adj gears you will never make this community happy.

I shared with this community, Jr shared with this community and it hasn't gotten us anywhere...that's ok we'll still have the custom parts we need to make the power we want

So you're saying you never learned anything from the community? Most share because they realize they've taken advantage of others who have shared similarly, and they want to pay back to the community. Why did you share? Was it to pay back or for some other reason? For fame? For fortune?
Those of us who share to "give back" have gotten "somewhere" because we got there before we gave back.

Those who share for other reasons...
Well, I can imagine their results may vary.

Then again, I can completely understand those who have shared and their offering has been rejected. That lesson is one not soon forgotten. Why share when the community puts it's hands over it's ears? I don't blame them for keeping secrets. Maybe you're one of them. It's sad when we disenfranchise those guys and lose their future contributions...
