Kelford do make cams but i believe they offer a rally grind for sr16's a std sr16 grind, n1's and their big profile which is designed for built motors. They do however offer custom grinds though if you wanted them too. Ie n1 with bigger low lobe for more midrange. They don't have the 20v profile though.

yep you get that. sucks a bit, but as much as i hate to say this, many of the people that would like to see his results are probably the cause of them not being released, i imagine it would be a good cam.

the other reason that people arnt keen to try new things is because nz and american dyno's read different, but people on here cant seem interrupt data.

with this in mind i ask the forum what the difference in whp on your dyno's between 20v's and n1's? same car same set up

well on elvnxr's car it was a 10wkw difference between GENUINE 20v's and franklin's 20v/n1. 125-135. Thats 14whp difference both drop in no gears. That said i wouldn't go the n1 highlobe.

This indicates to me that there is nothing wrong with the franklin profile.

The other cam of interest here is the new 184c 216 sae corrected whp on stock inlet plenum with 12.5:1 comp.

There are cams out there that make power.

They're Kelford cams. They are just a newer version of their older version. They are supposed to be better then the n1's. They are good for high compression motors. The specs are on their website.

Dyno results, we have them at home.

Amdeman has the most powerful N1 cammed car we know of & it went on the dyno the same day as EVLNXR.

EVLNXR's computer was playing up a little and that affected his peak figures but he still made about 10% - 15% more torque on the low lobe than Amdeman's car. Had the car held the tune I imagine their peak would have been similar but more torque on the low lobes of the 20V/N1

All aftermarket cams should be shimmed but several people have dropped their Franklins straight in without any problems.

Moist.
