yep, always the way.

My main query is if they area straight drop in, or need significant shimming (I dont really even know what this is haha).
If drop in, then I may consider them

Must ot be cheap from Europe, which is why they are not selling over here like hotcakes.

sometimes I wonder if people can read

Anyway the price shipped to the US is 635.00

And the reason people are skeptical about buying is because you have to pay 635 for the cams and then s/r's on cams that have NO dyno numbers

How does franklin expect to sell cams with no dyno information........Hopefully somebody will take a chance and grab a set and dyno them back to back against N1's........

DUH...Well anyone who ponies up 700+ dollars witout proof is an idiot so whats your point?
I wanted them made by charles because I know what he is capable of.

Franklin is a very reputable company, just because its not a huge name in the us there big with the Aussies and atleast they had the balls to make them.

Also people were shelling out 700 on charles's header before it was proven and look how great his stuff worked out!

So I say lets give franklin a chance until proven otherwise.

They are factory profiles whats to prove?
Your not going to make more power than N1's because they have n1 high lobes.
Youre just going to make more midrange because they have bigger low lobes than n1's. You'll be faster as a result because you'll have more area under the curve. You wouldn't replace your n1's with these I don't think it's be worth it but if you were upgrading your cams then yeah definitely consider these over n1's

Wow, De javu. I heard that before.

After all the hype, demand, a cam grinder comes out out with the cams, and everybody sitting on sideline waiting for someone to dyno them. Jeez, didn't expect that.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTALLY agreeing with you there!

These HAVE been tested, these run EVERYDAY in a few cars around the World, as either N1's or 20V cams; where does the 'testing' need to be done?
EVLNXR had a set, which are still in his old car, and the new owner is very happy with them.
I run a set of N1s in my car, and I like them; more area under the graph and increased low down performance would be FANTASTIC, thank you very much!
These look like the solution.
I'm unsure if they are a 'drop in' solution; each cam should really be shimmed for optimum performance anyways.

This is looking like another example of why manufacturers can't be assed with the VE, and the community.
I feel sorry for Charles, possibly his own doing, but he had the best intentions and all credit to him for TRYING!

And here's yet ANOTHER manufacturer giving you, possibly, exactly what YOU want, but you'd rather 'wait for dyno figures'.

Personally I can't see any other cam manufacturer bothering with the VE; it's an OLD motor now, it missed it's opportunity to shine, and other marques have stepped up, and the 'community' are a bunch of noses pressed against the glass; waiting for the golden ticket to be delivered free of charge into their hands.
Guess what guys, the boat might just be setting sail, and you might have just missed it...

What's with the drama? If I upgrade cams, these are the ones I am buying. Simple as that. Unless I find a 20V intake cam to try first, that is. I'd like to see the 20V intake coupled with the VET ex just for kicks.

So these N1 cams should be good to what? 9K rpms without float on a stock VE head?
