N1 intake manifold and N1 TB??
Would adding a N1 intake manifold and throtle body to a sr20ve add some good power with some tuning of course? I already have a set of sr16ve cams, BPI intake with 3" piping, ssac header with 2.5" dp and a 3" VRS exhaust to top it off.

Can somebody give me a ball park figure of what kind of hp I would gain by adding the N1 components...if any?? Are they even worth it?

thanks

Don't get an N1 intake unless you have the skills to seal the lower injector holes and port it. I would think most gains would be in conjunction with the bigger N1 cams. SO it might not be a good dollar value with your current setup.

From most of what I've read on the other forum you won't see much gain or benefit unless your making over 200+whp

it'll still gain power, you just wont see big gains without supporting mods

I do plan on spraying nitrous(100 wet shot) and those extra holes will not be a issue to block up.

Exactly. If you plan on future mods and are willing to consider it an investment until then you'll be ok.

Then you are all good.

I actually considered this as well, but decided not to for now.

I really would like to see some people that have tried these components out and how if any hp they gained.

There are a few threads, one in particular from Australia regarding this.
He gained SLIIIIIIIIGHTLY, not worth the effort in his opinion (and agreed here, as I have one as well).
There is no real conclusive supporting evidence to say that they make any difference at all, from what I've seen.

As an example my main (and friendly) competition over here is Clint, both him and I are often chatting about MAFs, T/Bs, and intakes. Both he and I are within one kW of each other, and he runs a standard VE intake, T/B, MAF, etc... And I run the N1 MAF, T/B and intake etc...
For the $$$, there are better ways to spend it and get definate gains; I'm unsure if you've not got headers (good ones) then that's what I'd hit first.
Just my 2c (not worth as much nowadays with the ressession) HAHAHAH!
