still can't get VE running????
I swapped in a ve about a month or so ago and can't seem to get it running right. I thought it was the cold air valve, but I don't think so any more because after playing with it it now stalls instead of idles high(maybe it is one o the problems Sometimes it runs OK( not good) but most of the time it just jerks back and forth until you ride the clutch enough to get it in the higher rpms and then like I said it will run OK, but its still missing ALOT of power. I did a compression test and got 270psi across all 4 cylinders.

I am totally lost and have no idea what it is.

I am running a calum basic ecu, n60 maf, stock ve inj's. I tried different chips, but still run into same problems. I thought maybe it was the tps, but i checked it and the wiring seems to be correct, so I am now out of ideas and there isn't many guys in the philly area that I know that have some decent experience playing with ve's.

Any help is appreciated.

Check to see if your fuel lines are crossed.

270psi seems really really high, i only got 180 accross all 4 on me ve.. are you sure its running on all 4 cylinders? my car was only runnin on 3 for a while i was wondering why it sounded like a subaru an found out #4 injector plug wasnt seated all the way it ran ok but laggy now it runs like a champ, what is this engine in?

270psi is completely for a healthy VE unless your running cams which will show you a lower reading. And no my car doesn't sound like a subaru, it just runs erratic.

Sorry but your and my problems aren't even close.

You sure the ECU is okay? There could be so many things wrong it's hard to pinpoint. I'd go through everything systematically if I were you.

If you can, switch back to stock DE MAF, TPS, Injectors, ECU and see how she runs.

I've seen many "problems with N60 maf" threads as well. Maybe that?

Find some one close with nissan data scan or buy it your self. You will find the problem fast.

Have you determined if it is a spark or fuel issue?
Based only on the info you have given...I would start with the TPS and MAF voltages
They are both easy to check and could cause the problems you have.
