something is definatley wrong as soon as u hit 7100rpms the power drops off like crazy.

I just noticed that too, I would say your cams are switching off at 7100..

Happy I did it, since it was the 1st one I did since going Calum Basic.

Will take some time soon, go back on the dyno and play around with dizzy timing, vvl points etc, especially since I have not dynoed after removing the stock primaries with long 2" secondaries and putting on the modded SSAC.

I did that to an SSAC header and the car didnt like it it lost power and torque with the modded secondaries...

how much did ur car make b4 and after u modded the secondaries payu im just curious cuz i also did the same thing. And i put down 175whp & 148tq after i modded the secondaries. I guess we all learn from our mistakes. Oh well:o

First off you need an sae dyno to even try to compare anything. And second you can't go changing a bunch of things at once and blame it on a single one of them. These type of tests should be don't back to back with as least amount of variables as possible.....

I have done the following since:

1. Installed SSAC Header with 2" secondaries (longer than the SSAC) and a proper 2-1 collector (so i now have decent CHOKE POINT!)

2. Re-tune the car.


Header mod and tuning by sr20ve no freak.


My power is now 184whp and 143wtq.

My previous dyno b4 3" exhaust was 173whp and 137wtq. And it is rumoured that this dyno reads higher than the one that I dynoed with the 3" exhaust. So significant gains with exhaust and header.


My 1320 time went from 15.08 to 14.4. I am a lousy driver and I didn't use slicks. Car is at least a 14.0 or if I can shed some weight and pull a 1.9 or 2.0 60" May break into 13 sec.
