Thread: ssac with 3" downpipe????

I was thinking since my buddy LOVES to weld that maybe I can cut the ssac header where it goes into the down pipe or just get rid of the 2 to 1 design and weld in a 3" pipe? Will this be worth it? Has anybody ever tried it? Or have any input into this???
