n1's w/o s/r's?
I was wondering if I could run n1's in my sr20ve w/o s/r's if I don't ever rev over 8400ish? If I can what would be the max rpm I could rev to w/o any problems?

thanks

^Nice to know, I wouldn't need to rev pass 8500K either.

^I love your car Sunny. I wish I could pick it up, but I'm into deep with my other projects.

Perhaps one of the really savvy VE guys can chime in. I haven't really played with the springs much. But I thought that the N1 cams could actually rev higher than that without float on stock springs. I thought the N1 springs were actually not as strong, but I could be wrong here. Can't remember where I heard that.

The stock sr16 cams should be good to 8500rpms without problems, but I am not sure on this one either. Nissan likes to have a good 500rpm to play with for safety, and the sr16 revs to 8000 stock, so I would think that 8500rpm would be safe with even the smaller cams.

The N1 has a very slow ramp angle from what I understand. I haven't actually even gotten a chance to look at N1s yet. I am thinking 9K rev limit on N1 cams, but they won't make power that far in.
