Sorry to go off topic, but I myself have started my VE swap into a B14 SE-R.
I have one quick question; one of the “Air Sensor” on the VE manifold is missing. In other words I have one on my DE, but not on the VE; there is nothing to connect to. It is the one that has the clip style connector, and it looks almost like the one for the knock sensor.
Does any one know how to go about this? Will it be fine if I leave it unplugged?

ok another question... i need to swap over the coolant temp sensors from the de to the ve? i went to the junkyard and got the de harness for $10.47!!! tell you, what a b!0tch to get out with the motor still on the car. i coundnt get neither of the CTS from the de due to being a pain. but i was looking at the one on my GA and looks the same and same part # from dealer so the one with the inj type connector i got but the ga doesnt have the little one. can i use the one from the VE?

Well I just finished my VE swap last week, and I changed neither water temp sensors.

I left them alone because when I still had my DE the single pin sensor broke, so I swapped it out with one from a GA (BAD idea), the temp gauge was way off. I heard as long ass you get one from the same chassis, that has the same cluster you will be fine. BTW the single pin sensor I used was from a b13 chassis vs. my B14.

As for the one that came with my VE, well it's working fine, I don't think it's off at all. So I’m not going to change it.

Hope this helps.
