I'm not a machinist. But I do port and polish heads and modify/fabricate manifolds.

Not a machinist here either.
I've only logged a dozen hours or so on a mill and even less on a lathe. (Gaining access to this type of equipment has been hard.)
But I'm a quick learner. I'm also not a stranger to CAD programs, welding, fabricating, etc.
I still have a lot to learn and a ton of practice ahead of me.

Not sure on the compression, but he went with the single lobe cos it's a race car - it's not exactly gonna spend a lot of time on the low lobe.

Alright, now that the recipe is out, we should see a lot of 240+whp VE's. lol

I don't think so. Those that know, keep quiet.

Bingo, it's no big secret. Why would an individual spend thousands of dollars on r&d only to post it online and have some company copy them for profit.

It's going to take some serious head flow, rpm and good amount of compression to get 245whp na on a 2liter.

Constructive mi rass?

Man asking about ve and you filling up the man thread with 've vs de' stuff?

Thor, I would like to see a 2.0 Sr20ve with 245 whp. That's pushing it right now.

Not saying it's not possible but CR is what you may have to go UP on, and how high can you go?

and why do you always compare this forum with WJ? not necessary.

peace

I vividly remember a thread a couple years ago on the old forum where kesi listed some headflow data and not too many people seemed interested. upwards of 300cfm, i think, where it was listed that they were going to get the itm and exhausts flowed to match the head port job.

And all of that was listed a whiiile ago for someone to take note, but how many people followed the recipe then?

I dont believe a compression was decided on back then, but researching and info provided by kesi on here would help someone get started...
