Same here, DE throttle body FTW.

I also got rid of the air regulator.

Ok well I switched throttle bodies and it made NO difference????

I try and rev the car and it surges up and down. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? TPS maybe? I am hearing a squeaking from the belts, so i am thinking maybe there is a problem there? The weirdest part about it is when I rev it high enough is runs fine. I tried changing chips and still nothing.

Anybody have any idea's?? I NEED this car for my DD and its making me nuts!!!

I've just reviewed the thread to determine the symptoms. What I'm reading is that your idle speed is "surging" or the car is "jerking" during warmup, but the car runs OK after it warms up. Is this what you are experiencing?

It might be helpful if you could give a more complete description of the symptoms. Also, did this just start spontaneously, has it been occurring since the VE swap, or did it start when you changed something?

Ok, you about nailed it. The VE has had this issue from the swap. It will idle fine and once your in the high rpm's everthing is fine, its just when your trying to accelerate low in the rpm's it will jerk or surge whether sitting or driving.

LMk if you need anymore info. I am going to swao ecu's today as I have 2 calum's basic's.

Yeah, doesn't seem to help. I am getting totally frustrated here . I didn't buy or change anything, just installed the motor....I checked the compression and got 270psi across all 4 cylinders. I guess I will try a different ecu to rule that out??? Maybe my alternator is wacked?? So maybe I will test that??

Jon I will get with you this weekend and square things away.
