I payed 8x as much as an SSAC for it,and it has some minor fitment issues.
But,It sounds and performs awesome...and I like custom parts, rarer parts.
I like my ASP header alot, and have no regrets, except maybe that I didn't pony up for the Vband.

V-band for the win. I wanted to put the hi-chrome coating on mine but went with the basic black coating and extra O2 bung along with the V-band to keep costs down. Charles aka Snickers was the one who suggested the V-band. Knowing that this header was originally made for a P10 the B13/B14 fitment issues were no surprise to a few of us. No regrets on mine and I agree with Eggman. I'll pay for R&D and knowing that it was custom made is icing on the cake. Don't mind the tuning with the header, learned a bunch making everything work together for the best power under the curve.

Its not a perfect fit for p10's either. Mine is close to the x-member, front motor mount bracket, alternator, and sway bar. It vibrates on one of but im not sure which, but bad motor mounts could be why some people have x-member contact and some dont. Had to take off the sway bar to install the downpipe, and I also have the vband.

I like my header though. :] Glad i bought it.

Eggman let me ask you a quick question not to go to far off of topic but when I used those asp budget headers on a de in low rpms it felt like the car lost power But in the graphs he provided the header showed it made more Tq down low . What could be the issue with that? I know this because I used to test my car around a corner the rpm that usually spin the tires with the ssac headers I had to go almost 1500 rpms higher to do the same thing with the budget header. I should have got a before and after dyno.

3" kills low end.

I figured that but it showed a gain in his dyno graph with a stock de engine. SO naturally I figured I had cams so I was expecting a bigger gain. I was using Bc stage 2's at the time..

Did you re-tune your car after install? You have cams and a good header now, you may need to tune to see down low and full midrange benefits.

I got that "chromex" coating on the whole thing on mine, which added over 200 I think.Thats why I skimped on the Vband

I would say your tune had something to do with it.
snickers played with the timing and tuned that DE on th dyno to get the results he posted.
I am pretty sure Charles did not just slap a header on it,put it on the dyno and get instant gains.
BC cams would tke little off the bottom on DE I think.
I think my VE pulled alittle harder off the bottom with a SSAC,but after 5000 the ASP owns it.
This is all butt dyno,BTW

Ive definitely noticed a drop below 3k with mine over the SSAC but as said after 5k it absolutely screams this is with Autech cams

Im very very happy with mine, it only needed minor tweaks for it to fit..

for the downpipe to clear the ARB I laid a scaffold bar over the point that it contacted and hit it with a hammer putting a slight round depression in the pipe this has given me the extra clearance

The asp dyno Charles had he cranked the timing up and thats all. No tuning, it was a stock p10 with no performance mods at all. I think he said timing was around 21 degrees or so.

93.5 highport motor

165,000mile spark plugs

stock
stock
stock

only changes was i reset ignition timing to around 20 degrees cause it didnt want to run right...

i had to do several runs because the ECU kept pulling timing and or fuel out for some reason so i had to get it set so it wouldnt do that. then i got 3 runs identical....
