It will not lag as much as a turbo...

you will have more boost sooner with a small turbo than that charger. I don't think it would be a bad idea to use the charger, but it will not be cheaper than a turbo setup, unless you have crazy fab skills and even then I am not sure it would be cheaper. You have to account for your time as money also, would be cool but not cheap or easy in anyway.

the centri is not less efficient than a twinscrew or Eaton style blower just build power way different. twin screws and centri are very close in efficiency eaton's arnt as good unless your using a TVS unit like on the new ZR1.

I think it'd be crazy. If this gets made, I'd want one for me VE. I was thinking of a supercharged VE also, I just don't have mad fab skills.

The v6 mercedes superchargers are screw blowers too, so they would be pretty sweet to use.
The 4 cyl ones only use a little eaton which aren't as effecient.
Not sure which one the used but 318hp is nothing to sneeze at!

I used the 2.3L kompressor one on a ga16, but ran like 7psi at idle and 23psi by 2500rpm, with a therotical 58psi at redline lol
