Thoughts opinions on supercharger VE setup.
I was thinking on doing something with the Scion Tc setup made from TRD. It looks like with a some fabrication it could be attached to a SR20VE. This TRD Superchargers I seen them go for 1,200 on ebay, not bad thinking a whole Turbo setup with manifold would be much more expensive. Plus you could have a badass header like ASP's plus boost. Would like to get some opinions on a setup like this. Keep in mind this will be to run low boost like 5-7 psi on a stock bottom end to make things simple.

that looks do-able...how much money and time do you have on your hands?

maybe without ac,and the lines it would fit well in the bay...

thats a centri soo basical a turbo with a pully. that would probly be the best way to SC our cars but it will build boost just like a turbo. so no real worrie of makin 7lbs off idle lol.

Very good idea imo. I think the VE will respond very well to this supercharger. And even more so with some SR16 cams. High revs and this charger will come alive, and expect volumetric efficiency to be well above 100%.

I think it would be just sick.

If clocked downward it wont protrude as much towards the dizzy, but anyway that was just a thought it came to my mind. I don't think I got the skills and time to do this but I do think its do-able. If custom steel was still around I bet he could off fab some brakets to make it fit.
