VE DE block question

Is the roller rocker bottom end different from the ve bottom end?

Yup, I think the RR had a 4cw crank, and the DE had a 8cw crank.

Well, the RR is a DE. I think he meant RR vs VE. They definitely have differences. They use different oil pumps and the RR doesn't have the oil passage to the head. I think the VE also has piston squirters. Oh, I'm pretty sure different pistons too.

The RR block and VE block are the same other than the VE blocks have the oil passage for the VVL drilled and the RR just has the casting boss there. oil squirters ofcourse. the rods and crank are the same, the pistons are almost the same, just no valve reliefts in RR pistons.

That look like what I might do or just swap the crank and piston or even put my n1 piston .... Got alot of ideas and good advise but I'm all over the place .... N/A turbo or nitrous so hard to choose !!!!
