VE/DE hybrid setup
Whats up fellas? I have a sr20de p10 right now, and I have a sr20ve head laying around. Looking for some opinions and suggestions on this setup I been planning?

sr20ve head
sr20de block
sr20ve cams for now
sr20ve oil pump
sr20ve pistons, and rods
8cw crank
p12 head gasket
333 injectors
Gspec crank, and water pump pullies
Thermoblock spacers
ASP (budget) header
Calum realtime ecu

You guys have any suggestions on building this motor? Im a newb, so this is my first engine build. Is there any other decent engine mods I should do while im at it? What kind of power do you think I would make? Thanks

It seems that you'll be better getting a whole sr20VE, it will save you the headaches of rebuilding a whole bottom end, unless you are planning on using higher compression pistons or bigger bore.

Build it. You have everything ready you can make sure the install is perfect. You don't need head studs for that. Just get some good cams in there.

You could take advantage of the situation and go big bore sleeved block with high CR pistons to make a monster. Then just spray if you want more power... but...
