I have used GC 0w30 (Mix of 2/3 of GC and 1/3 of Castrol 0-50) on my VE in my last 3 track days (about 300 miles of track racing) with my oil temperature at 250-260deg F for the entire session and noticed that I had to add 0.2 quart after each track day which is not too bad. I feel much safer with this oil due to high temp than with M1, although I change oil every 3 track days. Don't worry I am shopping for oil cooler as 260deg F makes me nervous on the track.
