Thread: SR16ve Tranny with Sr18/20 non lsd gears?

That is a 91-97 P10 non T trans. If I'm not mistaken all of the JDM trans I've seen were electric speedo. I've never seen an import SR trans that was cable driven personally. So based on the case and it being non LSD it's a G20 non LSD trans. $.02

there you go...engine and tranny was taken out from a halfcut b14 lucino...im sure its an lsd, both tires are turning at the same time...

Looks like a SR16VE gearbox to me.

1. Cable clutch.
2. Fins on case.
3. Both mounting points.
4. LSD
5. Still attached to SR16VE LOL

mine clearly has a #1 on it...but all orginal...

No idea if those numbers even mean much. Could be just some Nissan factory tracking info for quality control etc, who knows. I think you can rest assured your gearbox is the stock SR16VE one.

Hey Man if you want quick acceleration the sr16 box is the way to go......The only way really to get the gear ratios is really by counting the turns using a clutch disc andsome axle cups...
