No real reason. Originally I was running off the stock 330's (I believe 330?). I contacted a guy in NewZealand, Out of the various boad setups he had, one was a board tuned for N1's and basic boltons like mine, so I got that one. It did require 370's for some reason, but I got those for free. I got the board for 130ish then went to a local TV/VCR repair shop and they charge $60 to soulder everything in. So basically, 200 bucks and had a stock ve ecu that spun to 8500, no speed limiter, 5200/5800 switch points, open loop system not needing a O2 sensor. The NZ guy advized me to get a chip burner, so I could alter what ever I wanted, but I have yet to do that as it runs like a charm. Im more then positive you could squeeze a good amount of extra power with the editing software and chip burner but I am happy with how it runs straight off the base map.
