Throttle bodies for VE??
Has anybody actually fitted some ITB's to a FWD VE?

There has been talk of it before about martin bruwer making some but i dont think it ever happened.

I'm seriously thinking about getting some but not going down the custom road! I already have an N1 intake so would i see many gains from ITB's?

Thanks

probably see gains, but custom is your only option...
efi hardware here in aus make a set for the DE, but obviously you'd need an adapter plate

Yesterday I sent an email to Extrudabody

Q: Hello, I have a sr20ve and know the intake ports are larger than the de. I was wondering if yall had any experience with the VE or sell a manifold that would work with one.

Thanks

A: We would have to custom build a Intake Manifold Like the one on the Extrudabody: Performance Fuel Injection Homepage tech info installs page! Your looking at $1500 for a Bolt on solution for the sr20VE!

So it looks like if you have 1500 to spend, there is you solution/source, since the other dude from south Africa fell off the face of the planet.

I cant understand why someone is not making these already.

I'd pay $1500 but id want a simple bolt on kit, what im getting from that extrudabody site is that you have to fab your own intake mani?

Did they say what you'd get for $1500?

Not too sure damo, but you'd have to do custom manifold. Custom is not worth the hassle, especially the hassle im going through just to get a 3" exhaust made!

If i do manage to get anything i'll sell ya my N1 intake!
