i just talked to a guy from a place called vip performance, not to far.. just accross the bridge into oregon, he said he hasnt messed with a ve but he has done many de,det's sr's,rb's ect.. he said he uses nistune an also has exp. with daughterboards and such.. but he's never heard of calum lol so anyways its 100 an hour for tuning which doesnt seem bad wonder if that includes any pulls or if thats additional $. i would like to test before an after with the exhaust but i cant just bolt on bolt off since my high flow cat is welded in.. so after i get my exhaust im gonna go down there an see what we can do.. atleast that will give me a good idea on cam switchin points an also weather or not this cai i have is worth a damn or not.

my friend is going to port my hot shot header for me since i have piss poor rotary burrs, gonna let him use the ve metal gasket to mock up.. i think im gonna get a bigger pipe to run from the flex tube to the cat also.. if its even worth it?

hopefully i dont pull some redonkulously low numbers lol.. my leaks will be fixed an exhaust will be on so... crossing fingers..

an the only reason i was runnin against my friends stock de is cause it gave me a good idea of where i stood.. i wasnt tryin to mash him down or nothin, but it definately let me know i need to get on the exhaust and leak stuff..

uhh its a 2 an a half to 3 hour drive or so.. good to know i can get my asp header localy (when i have the cash) lol

i called another shop, this ones called fast specialtys.. prices are a bit higher, however the chick on the phone knew what a calum ecu was and they just tuned a ve recently, an i think i saw it on craigslist.. damn near same color as mine.. damn those maaco paint jobs HAHA... anyway i think i might go that route since they have tuned a ve and actually know what a calum ecu is lol..
