the car runs good, runs smooth, pulls hard.. no glitches or bogging.. the idle stays around 1000 an the idle adjust knob is all the way tight.. gonna check my tps and the screw thing on the tb..

what ecu are you running? Your setup is hurting the performance and the leak in the header robs alot of power.

How the hell could you posibly lose to a 140hp de??? When you have 190hp??? That really makes no sense whatsoever. I think something is definitely wrong bro.

I would not switch the cams above 4800 (assuming that you are using SR20VE cams). You might actually do better switching them a little lower.

Way back when I just had my Calum ecu, and 3inch exhaust with ssac header my buddy in his nx held me on the highway in 3rd with a little jump on me until I shifted into 4th then I started to pull away. You can imagine the grin on his face when we got back to the house....

My VE had a similar run-in when I installed it.

If your header isn't port matched and the exhaust is too small it chokes out. Also if you dyno-ed you could probably pop the cams as low as 4200 with that set-up (maybe).

Also if you come up against a strong DE motor that is set up right... basically your VE is only a DE with some headwork, high comp pistons and a set of S3s. If its not tuned and set up those 47 extra ponies are wasted. Even if you have a bad alignment/suspension versus them it hurts. Thats NA tuning for you.
