loading the video now, yeah it seems to pull pretty good when we were doing the pulls but you can still feel it die top end badly. So either way something is up. But it still runs pretty hard and definetly feels alot more than 146whp, but again its hard to tell.

Vid coming shortly

R u sure you didn't bend the valves? I only heard of stock sr20ve cams clearing the DE 9.5:1 pistons.

positive man, compression and leakdown is perfect. Again maybe this is why the numbers are low because they are not franklin cams, If this comes out to be true both my buddy who purchased them and me will be pissed as hell. Again wait for the specs to come and we will find out what is really going on here.

Knock sensor ok? My car ran like carp when the plug fell off one time cause I forgot to put the pin in.

about 7800 because it was peaking soo early and just falling on its face so there was no need to even take it higher.

Thats another thing we are gonna check, i know there was some issues with the wires going to the knock sensor but there are no codes stored for it right now so id assume its working right, its a brand new sensor off a low milage motor so i know it works but we will recheck the wiring to that as well.

So do my Franklin S4 & Kelford 184-C as they use the one type of blank so that's OK.

Are you sure you haven't mixed up the intake & exhaust cam? It's possible that the previous owner had put intake on exhaust & vice-versa so if you were using the slight wear from the dizzy drive as an indicator as to which cam goes where, it could be that they are still mixed up.

not only that but the lobes would not face the correct way, im using the cam gear pin locations. When your number 1 is at tdc the intake and exhaust lobe point away from each other while the pins are at 10 and 12 oclock. If i took the intake cam and put it on the exhaust side with the pin at the 12 oclock position the cam lobe would be pointing almost straight up and the same with the exhaust if it was on the intake except it would be pointing downwards.

Ok so it is possible they are franklin cams. I will mic them when i take them out to see what they come out to as well as check the knock sensor wiring even though that cant possibly make that much difference but its worth a shot. neways we see here shortly. It should be a pretty peppy motor. It might almost be worth finding a set of stock ve cams to throw in there and see if there is any difference in performance over these. I know there was a lot of speculation on the older franklin cams so who knows.

Anyone have a set of stock ve cams they would like to sell for cheap for a good cause, hahaha. No but seriously if you do hit me up. Im sure my buddy will buy them if they are reasonably priced. Thanks.

Neways ill keep this post updated.
