Yeah if it was the knock sensor it would have the code in the ecu right away. maybe the cams are reversed like Clint said.

again its impossible, they wouldnt even face the right way. They are not centerlined identically. There is no real way to get them mixed up. Plus one had a broken distro keyway and distro key marks on it so i knew again right away which was which.

Seems kind of lean, that's where you were making the most power?

nope cuz i tuned to 13.5:1 and made 145.6whp and tuned to 12.8:1 and it made 146.9whp so yeah, unless there is something seriously wrong with that knock sensor and its pulling out all timing but i doubt it cuz you can see the changes in the a/f when i would change timing. So yeah it has to be a cam issue, i think we are gonna pull them and put a set of stockers in there and see whats up. Its gotta be that.

Neways the guy at the dyno was impressed with calum's realtime ecu. He was like wow thats nice and for a great price and it allows you to do everything most other standalones can do except the changes to say a map sensor.

But as far as tuning goes its awesome. Neways so yeah thats the plan. Change those cams out and he also wants to get the budget header with full merge to replace the ssac header. Im sure that will help as well.

right now its at 4600 rpms, we need to bump it up to maybe 5k or 5200rpms and it should help the torque being the peak torque is usually made on the low lobes from what ive seen. So thats one thing we need to take care of and that might help smoothen out the power band some but yeah i can bet money on it that a set of stock ve cams will do it wonders too. Its sad in a way that an aftermarket cam set would perform like this but if my memory recalls right the first stage franklin cams had problems like this making redicoulously low power. So we really have no other options with the de pistons other than to go with a set of stock cams.

Just buy some Original N1s and set crossover @ 5200. Optimal for N1s
