Dynoing the DE/VE hybrid VVL today
We will be at Import Power House today so i can do some dyno tuning with a wideband on my buddies DE/VE Hybrid 200sx SE-R

Take some guesses at the ouput:

Here is the mods list:

Fresh JDM 9.5:1 motor with a clean SR20VE head with mild ported intake and exhaust ports, stock port matched intake manifold and throttle body. Compression should be around 10.3:1 with the vvl head.

It has Gspec vvl oil pump and aluminum pulley kit, still kept power steering but no A/C

Franklin Stage 3 cams similar to N1's
JWT cam gears set at +2.5,-2.5
Brian Crower Springs and Titanium retainers. 9k revs
SSAC 2.5" header matched to a full true 3" exhaust with no catalytic converter and a 3" straight through can style muffler.
JWT lightweight flywheel with ACT EXT PP and street disk, B15 LSD trans
MSD window switch triggering vvl at 4800 rpms
3" intake with jwt pop charger
370cc injectors and E60 maf tuned on a Calum realtime. This is what we will be tuning with.

Thats about all i can think of other than other minor stuff like a koyo radiator with slim fans, tein suspension, nx2k brake upgrade, hydraulic clutch conversion

I will be taking vids and posting up the final numbers when we get done.

My guess is final numbers will be 201whp and around 150wtq after tuning is done. The pulls will be done on a dynojet and the temp should be around 75 deg when we do them.

So take your guesses sorry though no cash reward. haha

Are you sure you have enough clearance on standard DE pistons to run those Franklin cams & cam gear settings?

Watching this closely... Be sure to get a good dyno sheet. I hate it when people post horsepower + torque vs speed graphs with different HP and TQ scales... and no air fuel ratio.
