Was having a rev issue.

Turned out it was the dizzy cam position sensor but the code came up.

The ecu has no problem going above this however and just reads from the last table cells and continues on. Talking with calum you don't get into number overrun issues till something like 11k rpm and it fails at like 13k rpm....

Please continue your normally scheduled making up information session.

not all ECU's do this.
Mine with a nistune board has been tuned to 8500rpm

We aren't talking about nistune... And I SAID "stock firmware ecu"

JWT AND CALUM FALL UNDER THIS CATEGORY. Nistune does not. Hence I did not say all ecus or make anything up.

i was under the impression that the calum boards are the same as the nistune board, and provided the same functionality.

Well if you didn't know you shouldn't try to correct. I was being very clear about what I was speaking about.

There is a modified firmware for calum ecu in the works by a 3rd party to get past the stock firmware limitation. I am not sure how nistune modifies to get around this firmware limitation, but it is a limitation on all stock sr ecu's. It is a known that the nistune guys can map past the limit spot and JWT and Calum are limited by the stock firmware.

i dunno what the problem is here?

He's issue is the stock Rom not letting the engine rev past 8XXX rpm? simple right or it more ocmplex with some other issue?
