use acetone and fuse them

This plastic piping is made from polyethylene and will not glue together with acetone.

cause4alarm, did you make a hole for the intake air temp sensor?

I'm thinking about ways to do this without couplers and clamps...

so you're going to tape/glue/melt this thing to your tb, maf on both sides, and your air filter?

i only make 2 cuts. IAT sensor can just hang but that's up to you.

That's disappointing.

The piping is great stuff.

I actualy called them and told them if they made the piping modular ( snap together ) they would have a winner on their hands. They told me, they hear this all the time but are not going to change the design.

I am thinking, you have a 80% great product and you can improve it to be a 100% great product, which would sell way more and you will not do anything about it. No wonder companies are going under.

I bought one of these plastic intake pipes and I was able to get 3 uses out of it.


My friend Nick got a pc and used it for his SR22VE turbo MAF to Turbo. It worked perfect and we cut out one pc.

My other friend did the same thing for his SR20VE turbo MAF to Turbo.

I was able to get the turn I wanted to make a one pc intake pipe for my NA car.

Well, a coupler will definitely be used for the throttle body.
I'd like to mate it up to the MAF to make it look clean, but if I ever need to replace the MAF... it will be a pain.
I guess I'm over complicating things.
I just wanted it to look super clean.

cause4alarm, can you measure the ID of your piping?
I'm assuming it's 2.8" but would like to know for sure.
