I use cordless impacts and ratchets when working on my car, much easier to throw a socket on and go rather than mess with a flathead. Get it off in 1/4 of the time. Yes it doesn't take long either way, but it adds up. Also you dont really have to worry about them stripping if you over tq it like you do with the worm clamps. Like I said, personal preference.....
Plus think of all the turbo guys that converted to NA, I'm sure they have plenty of tbolts laying around. Are they wrong for using them on their intake? This is just a pointless discussion, I dont know why I even got into it.
