are the intake ports higher on the head than the DE lowport's? I've never really paid attention to that.

Why is the VE a lowport? Because the throttle body is up and the ports are down?

By lowport I refer to that specific DE head which is not the same as a VE. I wouldnt want someboydy to think they can swap intake manifolds, etc between lowports and VEs, but oh well...

No, you could say they are about the same height, but what I meant is that ports are different...
