Thats a Dyno Dynamic Dyno not a Dyno Jet. Take a car from a Dyno Jet to a DD and it will read lower too.

P10 FTW! Any pics of the actual car? Im planning a similar setup with 20V pistons, and ASP header. Any problems with the higher compression? I was originally thinking on n1 pistons but in the AZ heat that might be a problem for me.

No problem with the 20V pistons, even with California 91 octane. Just watch out for piston to valve clearance. You don't want to push your luck with the "magical" +5,-5.

lol when I dyno'ed my car the ppl at the shop thought it was on bottle and it was also a mostly Honda shop.

I've been to Churchs several times over the past 5 or so years. Dynapacks are the way to go IMO. I've lost 20whp NA just by having low tire pressure or bad alignment on a roller dyno. I'm not going to mention my NA dyno numbers from there either. Either way it's not fair to compare numbers from different shops/types. It's just a tuning tool, trap speeds are for HP calculations

I really like the sound effect the VE gives when both intake and exhaust cams are activated simultaneously. I use big cams to warn some people(mostly Honda's) from what's under the hood. A stab on the gas and the engine "barks", lol.



I generally agree trap speed is a good hp calculation if you are comparing two cars with the same weight. It all about power to weight ratio. My P10, which weighs 400lbs more than a B13, will never trap the same speed as a B13 even if it makes the same hp on the same dyno.
