VVL Aluminum Pulley Experiences??
I don't know...
But anyone have a bad experience with a VE that revs to 9000 rpms all the time with lets say G Spec aluminum crank pulley??
I have never had any bad experience with unorthodox crank pulleys before but I never reved those engines to 9000 rpms...
The problem we are having it with the stock VE pulley its that with cars with A/C and everything the outer part of the pulley were you read the timing got moved from the center of the pulley giving us bad timing readings sometimes you cant read the timing when it gets very off.. The aluminum pulley can solve this problem if it doesn't create others....

This usually happens to B13's because the the age of the stock crank pulley. The middle rubber part separates from the outside metal part causing the timing marks to jump around. This would not affect the timing if you already had it set, but if you went to adjust it with a light, you would think you had one drink to many lol.

My main concern is that the vibration create oil pump failures like braking the or cracking oil pump

Choaderboy (mike kojima) says that he always uses a aluminum crank pulley on all his track cars and has never seen any wear or failures as of a result of using an aftermarket pulley.

I've been using it up to 9200 without issues
I returned to stock soon I realized no gain on 16VE
Stock pulley seemed to have less vibrations.
I've revved stock pulley up to 10500 for the moment.

I got one installed along with the water pulley about appox 8,000 miles ago with no problems. I've done 350 miles trips on several occasions and still no signs of any kind of damage, I only rev it to 8k though.
