Andreas, if you can supply me simple drawing from VLSD ring gear, we can go forward.

I have an Autech RS5F32V box and when I rebuilt the VE purchased a Nismo LSD. I was only able to get the one for the A series box as the VLSD ones had sold out & Nismo no longer made a mechanical for the V box.
I thought all I would need to do is buy an open box to fit the Nismo into & then it would be a simple matter of just popping the Autech 4.3ish gearset in for a nice gearbox with a mechanical LSD in it. I went out & purchased a JDM RS5F32A 3.8 gearbox to do this.
The VLSD gearset wouldn't swap into the A case & vice-versa... one was too tight & the other too loose, I've also heard of others having the same problem. I ended up buying a third gearbox with the 4.1 gearset & having the Nismo fitted to that. I may have done something wrong but a couple of us looked at it & couldn't make it work.
The Autech VLSD now resides in my other car & the 3.8 open box lives on the garage floor. If I'd known that was going to happen I would've spent a bit extra on a Cusco LSD for the VLSD case as the Autech is far better suited to the VE & makes it easy to keep on-cam.
