Yeah that was the only way to make it work at the time but I think it may be messing wither the air flow a bit

yeah you really should change that. A 90* bend it self is bad, and you have 2! Switch up your intake pipe to make it work and hope the strut bar isn't in the way. The straighter the pipes the better
