You have a VET? Nice. I am currently not using the exhaust side, but you have brought up something very interesting! I will have to dyno the results in the next couple weeks to see if switching on the high lobe does anything.

I do have the exhaust cam hooked up, I just don't switch it. I have tried it because the rocker ratio in the middle is a lil higher, but I didn't notice any difference at all with power. But I don't even feel the intake hit really, so it could be that it helps... I can't wait to try it out, just for kicks.

Its going to lose power as it has been done before.

really? Hmmm, I wonder why it would lose power? Looks like it has a bit more duration.

Me too. Andreas are you willing to share the results of the testing?

Clark Steppler sent me a email with a test of the cams when switching over. The high lobes are not designed to do anything.

You guys can do it and find out.

If I were to put the standard rocker in my VET exhaust side I sure as hell would run 20V cams.

I'll take that as a "no"...

I can't wait for you to try it out either. Not much point me doing it with the standard turbo as that'll just skew the results.

If the high lobe profile was a 20v one and was used in conjunction with a 20vet intake high, of course its going loose power. So your email means jack unless he was using a 20v intake cam.

has anyone actually wacked them on a cam doctor?

when you try it try with the 20ve intake cam you have, as the vet intake cam is not designed to be paired to a 280deg ex lobe. Its like matching a standard det intake cam with a jwt c3 ex cam

I think he means hes going to test switching the vet exhaust came not switching a 20v cam in.
So he'll be running vet intake and vet exhaust cams.
Miko was just saying he wouldn't bother with the vet cams and would just use 20v cams instead (20v inlet and exhaust)
Well atleast thats the way I read it
