Some old guys once told me a dyno is used to tune a car (afr, powerband, ect..) because you will never get the same results twice. With that said Jun & Kesi great job, like you Kesi I can care less about the dyno and more about the real world so get that car down the track and post some videos if not PM me the videos. Ive been there back in 2004 when that 200sx blew up 2 b16 swap hondas in 1 night and killed at least 20 other cars, everybody swore the VE was spraying because of the sound of cams kicking in with that full 3" inch exhaust, the looks on every Honda guys face was PRICELESS.

Fellows that was 5 years ago with no support for a VE, so lets big up any gains in the all motor VE world.

^That's what's up. Does Kesi have any VIDS on those runs? I bet those honda guys were like, what kind of SR20 motor is that?

I don't know the physics/math behind it, but it's definitely true that the trap speed indicates power levels with little regard for skill. I've never been a good drag racer, but I've been to the local 1/8 mile track plenty of times just to screw around. Whether it was a bad run or good run by ET, trap speed stayed consistent.

Frequently, other cars with better tires and more skilled drivers would beat my ET by a considerable margin, but my trap speeds would still be 5-10mph higher than their trap speeds because my car was more powerful.

Yet, when asked what HP will produce a 125mph trap speed he is hit with "so many variables, can't answer". =/

^^^^My car have between 410-420 whp @17-18psi and traps 125mph and its a Full trim B13 + turbo system weight and a 180lbs good driver on 205/55/14 tires and 4th gear b15 trany. This its an example jejejeje....

Ok I'm just trying to compare hp thats all... I ran an 11.3@125 in my car with 500whp @20psi. Not sure how comparible it is as its not a fwd se-r and it weighs >3500lbs but it's all I've got. I watched the dyno run and I drove it down the 1/4 so I know that it is as acurate as it's gonna be.

compairing NA and turbo trap speeds is pointless. seriously were talking NA whps and traps

and i actually gained about 6 mph from roughly 10 whp. so i do expect this car to trap over 108 easily.

anyone know what this thing ran?

We were going to take it this weekend but we had weather problems this weekend in NY area.I can tell you this anything after 108-110 mph a sr20 (naturaly asprated) will have trouble getting anymore mph because of the bad gearing even with more power. The weak link is the gearing !.You have to go to 4th gear and thats kills the mph.
