I say about 107- 108 because Jun tuned his car on that same dyno and he put out 221 and traped 105.In my opinion I dought that 10 more whp and 8 more of torque will make the car trap 5 mph more.I actually think the dyno you went on reads alittle low.Thats why I think your trap speeds don't conclude with your whp.Plus your car holds the power up top very well and your taking very good advantage of the power band when your on 3rd finishing the 1/4 mile.

Another thing.If 10 whp makes the car trap 5+ mph.That will mean that if you bump up the compression upto 12.5.1 and make 220 whp you will trap 113.Theirs turbo sr20det making 270+ whp and 220+ torque that trap that high.It just dosn't make any sence to me that such low whp numbers traping that high.Just my opinion,who know what will happen.

Edit:In my opinion thats why dynos are just good enough for a good tunning method.Then you take it to the track and realy see the power that is putting out.

This is an interesting thread and the dyno figure discrepency was something we had suspected a long, long while ago.

I think also that there can be meaningful comparison between HP and trap speed across countries ie. XXX trap speed = YYY hp over here/there.

Just to get an example what hp would a car have to hit a 125mph trap?

so many variables to answer that kind of question.

I like when everyone gets along and we are a community not a sandy vagina convention. Idk anyone on this forum but a few guys that I have met and they are great people but i dont get why we dont support eachother. its not a competition in my eyes its a hobby and it should be something you enjoy. I respect anyone that builds a car or puts time and money into a car to make it what they want. Jun is into the magazine scene not my style but hey to each his own and I will say congrats when he does something good. I'm in it to have fun and I think some people get lost in what its all about. Thats all I have to say and good luck to everyone this season coming up in the spring time.

I'm clearly not a drag racer so what kind? But in the above posts people are predicting down to the single mph on any given HP... and vice versa.

torque, weight, tires, tire diameter, tire pressure, suspension etc.
