You said he is a dumb ass which he clearly is not. He just has a issue with Jun. Are you one of Juns buddies or something?

Jun causes controversy, its just what he does. Like how he claims insane power that others cant believe, or the VE-T that he supposedly "built" but I know that he bought the motor from Charles Dundon (Snickers) for a good amount of money 4-5K or so.

That happens wether it's stock compression or higher compression. When compression is bumped, the engine will follow the same power curve shape but it will be higher everywhere. A bump in compression will also sometime move the peak power to a higher rpm by a couple of hundreds in rpm, but it won't cause a blip like we are seeing.

You shouldn't take any offense to what I said. I am a fan of dynapacks. I think they are the best dyno to use for tuning. I'm not insinuating, implying, suggesting anybody intentional trying to inflate #s, just pointing out things that are out of the ordinary. Good luck with what you do.

I mean if you disagree with the guys opinion thats fine but dumbass is very harsh.

Ahhhhhhh

No, we hang out a lot and I can say yup... he is a dumbass.... Some of the stuff he was doing last night I was like.......

Hater... I don't think that fits him though.

WOW, when are people going to realize there is no electrical or mechanical sensing device in the world that reads 100% accurate. There is no such thing as a perfect reading. You can make estimations to compensate for the inaccuracies but they will never disappear. Back in school if we got 90% accuracy on some of our lab experiments we were ecstatic! I personally do not give two sh*ts about the actual numbers on a dyno as long as they trend high. I cannot stand when people say they made 166 hp on a dyno, because you are saying your dyno is over 99% accurate. If you said you made between 160 an 170 hp I would believe you. I don't know much about dynos and the inherent inaccuracies but I do know they are a mechanical sensing device and have plenty of inaccuracies.

EDIT:Either way even if your dyno numbers are a little high they are still good numbers so I congratulate you for a great build.

WOW is right. I am blown away by some of these coments.

Good job Jun. I was thing you would make somewhere around 228whp with the build. What really truly impressed me is the torque. imagine if it ws tuned on race fuel.

There are so many variables, cam timing, header type, increased disp. increased compression, cam setting, dyno inaccuracies.
I have built 4 IT legal DE motors and have seen consistent 9-12 hp increase by going to 87 mm pistons 9.5- 10:1 comp. limited by rules. not only with an increase in whp, but making more torque and hp sooner in the power band.

So I truly do not understand, WHY is ther so much doubt? Reguardless of the peaks and quirks of the dyno graph it is still within +-5% of the figures.

Thanks. Switch over was at 4800 rpm and 8k fuel cut.
