Here are some more dyno sheets:
Airfuel Chart
Here was a previous run, starting to work our way up in power.
The car was runing real rich. 11.8 to 1 AFR.
These 2 runs were playing with vvl switch.
There were sevrel runs done with the car. We sat in the high 220 range for a few runs. Many people can make power like this they need to spend time with tuning there vehicles. Many cars are running the basic calum tune and make little power. You have to remember that he only gives you a basic setup. These tunes still need work. Aem will allow us to tune above the 8200 spot from the stock ecu. We can not control the air fuel after this point with the stock ecu. With a proper setup Im sure you can make more power. As far as the pyramid theory I believe what happens is the packs are slowing the car down in the run. Basicaly you set a ramp time window that the car will run. This will run that car through the time frame that is setup. Every car is different. When the car reaches x amount of time and The rpm is not reached the car is loaded to slow it down. This causes dips in the graph. The wheels would still Have to spin that hard to make that number. This is what makes these dyno more sensitive.
Glitch or not I still think it made that hp on the dynos. I think this is a huge breakthrough that people are looking for. We all see and talk about who is better but no one can make the numbers. This is why so many people are discouraged by this data. I have been tring to tune the best I can. Some cars have problems and can only make so much. They have to sort through them and create solution. I have been working with Jun and Kesi for many years. We have been through many slopes. There are many combinations that we have done. Many things work many Dont. You can hate or you can join us in a breakthrough.
Headwork on Ve cars I believe are not much power makers. Porting and polishing can make the ports bigger but can also slow the velocity down. In turn creat less power. I have a flow bench played with the head and I think the stock ports are good enough for making plenty of power. This can get into a huge discusion that we can start another thread on. I hope someone can make more power with these motors to prove that you can make it happen.
I have 2 more VEs to tune in the near future 1 being my old White car. I plan on not stoping and I want all my VE guys making over the 210 whp mark. Aem Or with a Calum board.
I just want to thank JR for letting me tune the car. We have many more secrets just keep tuning in.
