hopefully nissan will make a better motor than the k ..sometime in the near future...lol then we can just swap that in. Has anyone done a swap on a b13-b14 using that new 200hp 2.5 motor? that thing has like 180tq?

Yep common pack advertising. It's all true too. However in my experience, lots of cars have been subjected to this "false high" glitch. It's honestly a pain in my ass as it makes my job harder. I can't tune from fake numbers lol.

edit: disclaimer! This all applies to the only packs I have tuned with. Others of course may differ.

straight lines and peaks like that arent something i've ever seen before, definitely with my tuning on the same type of dyno
did think it was a bit strange...

So r u saying its not just that dyno that was used thats reading high? hmmm see i think its not their fault or nobody's its just a dyno problem. what they should do is redyno it elsewhere on a diffrent dynapack and see if the results are off. Or run it on the mustang dyno and get super low #s. But then again ppl will start blabing about how something is wrong blah blah blah....

i think we should just make a quick power pull on those emission dyno rollers and see if it'll throw out sum high #'s lol

Exactly.

Lol I lost 60 whp on my own car just going from packs to the mustang roller at XX. I trust the packs when they are reading right.

This Dyno has the same anomoly, it is even in the same RPM section again. This dyno did not make 221 WHP. This dyno made 210 WHP. Great job back then!

Below again we have the amomoly on the 231 WHP but the pyrimid strikes again. We can clearly see it is 221 WHP. Again great WHP for now.

If you guys check the diffrence between these 2 graphs the first one is 210 WHP which has 10.3 to 1 compression. The second graph is 221 WHP whichi s 12.5 to 1 compression. You can clealy see from my formula which states that the diffrence will be 4-5 % from the 1mm over bore and raise in compression you will cealry get the xtra 9-12 WHP diffence from these 2 dynos.

We just need to be honest with these things.

Well they aren't "actively" lying, the dyno put those #'s up. I just want to see the #'s after everything was reset and the dyno read normal again. I put it right at your estimate.

A dyno is a tuning tool

The desire for a corrected dyno is to more accurately compare a dynojet across the country or a dynopack across the country.

What ever numbers you run at the track (given your car's weight) will be a true indication of that power that day on that motor.

I run 12:1 CR and secondary injectors on the N1 manifold. From comparing corrected Dynojet numbers to stock/bolton VE's (on my dyno) i've seen uncorrected dynos as high as 217whp but corrected vs corrected on the same dyno my displacement affects my hp much more so than my CR.

Whether or not this car is making what people would define as a 'true' 231whp I am quiet sure that car will get down the 1/4 in a hurry. Whether that 1/4 is on the track or on the turnpike

221...not bad just drop in sum eneos synthetic(i was just on youtube) and pick up another 6-8whp
