The high compression is why there was such a lack of timing. But most of us have stock compression so we need more timing. This is far closer to what we need for n1's. I will dyno in a week or to and fine tune the fuel and timing maps and post my final bin and results.

If you get on tunerpro and compare the timing maps you will see mine is way different, and it should answer all your questions.

I think he posted saying that bin was not for his 12:1 motor, it was when he was at stock compression.

I will be trying this bin out tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the knock sensor flag is for? I assumed that is how it is turned on and off. If so, most all of these bins have the knock sensor turned on?

Oh well. Still there was not enough timing on the bottom lol.

Yeah I think so.

Well I loaded up the bin.

I am using an N60 maf so I modified the VQ map, as well as the K value. I had to change around the K value a bit as I was running 18afr under partial throttle! Once I got the k value squared I was showing 30-35mpg on ecutalk. With 14ish afr cruising 5th gear at 50. And 14+ idle. Not too bad.

As far as power, I did notice a small increase down low, feels a little edgier. I was using Calum's sr16ve stock bin before. Top end feels identical to me.

I am hoping for some better gas mileage as I had been getting 200miles to the thank last tune .

Thanks again.

BTW How is your idle with the N60? Mine was super rough so I went back to a de maf.

My idle was not affected really. I had a minor hunt to it, but it seemed to have gone away. I only drove with the new bin for 20min but it was fine in traffic, no problems!
