Im plan to get a ve but wanted to know if i can use my de headers on it?

Your de has two header(s)!! That's sick is it a v6 or v8 de?


You can use the de header on the ve, but you will be choking it ALLOT. You could try porting the header with a dremel or similar rotary tool, should help out somewhat.

The ve is especially sensitive to exhaust design. Try and invest in the best you can afford you wont be disappointed.

No.Well yes it can be used but not optimal. De ports are smaller than ve.

Use the ve header or get an aftermarket like the SSAC. Some are ported to match the VE.

DE ports are the same size as VE ports on the exhaust side of the cylinder head. They are positioned lower on the head than the VE ports by at least 1/8th inch. The DE header is a temporary fix until you find a true VE header or the SSAC 2.5" as a cheap VE alternative with stock cams.
