how will this make me faster
whats the take on a grounding kit.... pros and cons. just want the fact that ppl know and not hear....and the reasoning behind it. i know some details but more knowledge cant hurt.....is there any h.p. gains or is this another myth. will it make the vvl part of the driving experience better ???

I'd like to know this also if anybody has done this and can give facts or dyno sheets and not just speculation.

I won one at a convention and put it on my car. It didn't seem any different but It makes me more confident in my grounds.

I put one on my car because it damn sure couldn't hurt with our old-ass cars. Especially with all the (small) yet positive effects it can (or will) have on your ride.

My headlights worked slightly yet noticably better, plus my car had a smoother idle. I did not notice anything else, but I pay very little attention to mileage and whatnot.

We constant gain 1-1,5 whp with the ground kit on the dyno.

Nissan grounds suck so the kit will help more with out older cars like shawn said.

Have a few extra grounds on my car, but if you are going to install for it hp gains, I'd say 'no'. If it is to just to make you sure you have proper grounds, and eliminate/reduce chances of any electrical/grounding issues that may arise, then 'yes'.

I remember my other car, sr20 b/bird, and car would not start. Found out that is was because the car was recently paited and the paint affected the grounds.

For old cars, extra grounds or a homemade kit is good.

So to answer your ques? 'will this make me faster?' - I DONT think so.

Peace

It wont make you any faster. In fact it will make you slower because heavy gauge copper wire hanging all over the place for no reason isnt exactly light.

Two steps here:

1. Find stock grounds.
2. Clean stock grounds well.

Funny how I've never had a ground issue...

Yeah I forgot how heavy my grounding kit is. All one (1) pound of it. My car will be the same speed if I just skip that double cheeseburger.
