I think we are agreeing in a sense.

That is my point. I would like to know both, dyno and dragstrip numbers, but my personal drag-strip numbers would not tell anyone anything. Except that I am a crappy driver. I guess the 60-foot time would tell that tale (?).

This cars weight is a full 2550 pounds with a 230 pound driver easy.

Anyway I feel this car made about 204 WHP.

This is what happens when it get cold outside and there is no humidity in the air like up north. The dyno numbers grow alot. Temp for the day was 44-66 degrees.

At the 90 degree weather and 70-80 % humidity which is tipical of Florida is where STD and SAE cross the line.

ok, yea i wasnt sure what to think about the numbers coming from this dyno, seems they may be slightly inflated. but still that is one hell of a nice powerband. good job guys

I am a big fan of dyno tuning. Not really to get numbers but, to get the power curve on point.

im with you on this one. dyno numbers can vary soo much its not even funny, the dyno is a great tool for tuning and to physically see the power band but as far as cut and dry how much power the car is making there is no better indicator then the trap speeds..

I want to hear a sound clip of your car. I wonder how loud this thing is with the 12" resonator. What is the diameter of the barrel? What muffler are you running and what about your catalytic?

No cat, muffler is a Fujitsubo Legalis-R and the diameter of the resonator is 3inch inside and 4inch outside I believe.

Dyno #'s are BS. I remember back in the days I made 203 whp with my VE people on the old forum started all the BS with the FL #'s not being corrected and what not. I went to the track and my car a few times. Out of all the times I ran my car 99.8 MPH was the slowest I ran and my highest being 101 MPH

trap speed doesnt tell u how fast ur car is but a combination of car and driver as i stated earlier..... u could have a 230whp ve and still run 14s in a shell just because of the driver and his reaction time.....ive seen cars with more power and better power curve get cut but a car that was in every way less than it but with a better driver. a dyno tells u what the CAR by its self will do.....

steve foltz trapped 98mph with 186whp in a 4-door b14 and he wasn't the worlds best drag racer (road racing is another thing entirely :bigthumbup
