my car has been real consistant with the whp and traps. i think miko and jun will say that our cars generally gain about 4mph w 10whp, somewhere around there. and its been true for my car so far.
101mph w 200whp
104mph w 204whp
108mph w 212whp

Full interior B13 right? I trap 100 with 175whp SAE corrected, shows you how different dynos are.

Depends on the weight! If im not mistaken you car is not full weight. Also your car is special. It's the only Ve I know peak's after 8K and holds power long after. You have more power in the curve that any ve iIever saw before thus why you trap so high.

I think he traps high because of a few factors

1. Light car

2. Very good HP curve

3. He holds 3rd to 8800 RPMs to go through the 1/4 mile. This saves wasted time switching to 4th and pushing a longer gear where the car is not making power. This alone is good for 3/10th of a sec and about 2-3 mph.

^^^ I have to agree with those facts pointed...
That why Macakin here in PR with 196 whp traps 105.99 because he uses a regular B13 trany and passes the 1/4 mile in 3rd at 8,300 rpms and his car holds the power up there very well too...

I hated having to shift my car into 4th gear right before I went through the traps. It would have been very interesting to see my old set up with some N1 cams.

Very Impressive, good to see people putting down good numbers! Keep it up.

yes, I also run out of revs in 3rd with my VZR transmission, its not really the best for the drag strip, but i find it better everywhere else.

Maybe i'll just have to set my cam gears to attempt to hold power to 8500-9000rpm and rev it out.
