my VE-T felt like poo until I swapped to the VET cams. Perhaps there are some easy gains to be had.

yep, my next step is to do a compression test and leak down test to see whats up

any ideas what could cause the boost to come on so late besides the cams?

cant see it being the cams, the low lobes dont have that much overlap.
definitley think you should make more power than that.

A DP turbo should be somewhere around 340-360 WHP at 16 PSI. So keep working it until you get close.

Just out of curiosity, what made you go emanage?

Calumsult, nistune Biki etc would have made your tuning life far far easier!

But their not bad numbers for a start! Should be good to see how well it cleans up with a good tune sorted!

emanage was used back in 2005 when jason jgy put on the original setup, my other choice then was jwt for ease of use and cost...

i got the emu for cheap so thats what i upgraded to

what size exhaust are you running? I would go open dp on that thing and see what happens.
