So figure 2060 pounds without tool box and 1/4 tank gas.

or

2240 pounds with you in the car getting ready to race

and if you take out a couple of parts you are down to about 2200 with you in the car racing.

get some N1 cams, the MPH will go up by about 2 MPH.

Would it be safe or would I see any benefit, to use the cam gear at +2.5 and -7.5? I asked before but didn't receive an answer.
What would that do, powerband wise?

no sure what that would do, but I will be running a cobination on mine that is a little diffrent.

Since I have a 2.3L I am not to worried about mid range HP and will be going for top end HP only. So I will be going for -5 on the intake cam and 0 or +2 on the exhaust cam.

Benefit? Very little from +2.5,-5 , might help hold peak power a little longer. It's good for the high end but the lowend(1,000 rpm to 2500 rpm) and idle will suffer.

I have found through numerous cam timing changes and cam mis matchings, that the VE is pretty numb on the exhaust side.

Don't know what you're trying to start.

I'm responding to Macakin's question and nothing to do with you. Macakin wants to get some ideas as to how his engine would respond to +2.5-7.5 cam setting yet all you could do is talk about your wonder 2.3 engine on a engine stand.

I guess your ego is still sore after the Valve Clearance thread. Get over it.

Btw, you can use your ninja moderator power and delete this thread.
