Thread: Big problem with radiator fans using Frankie.bin!

I just installed my N1's and I am using the Frankie.bin with my calum daughter board ecu and my radiator fans and CEL are always on! I have a huge aluminum Koyo radiator and in cool weather my car will not stay warm as it is, and I go to work early in the morning when it's nice and cold. So I absolutely can not have my radiator fans on all the time. My car will never warm up! Can someone please, please tell me how to fix this bin?

There is nothing wrong with the bin. Ive used it before when I was OBDI. You may have installed the chips in wrong. This keeps the fans on as soon as you turn on they key and leaves a check engine light. Make sure you have the chips in the right way or you will burn out the ecu.

I have had this problem sometimes, just reload the bin onto your chips and try again. It could be the bin was corrupted when you downloaded it offline.

Try re-downloading it and re flash the chips.

Maybe the bin is bad, I got it from the other forum while online. The chips are in correctly and I did not touch the legs. I wont be able to reburn them till tonight because I need to use my friends computer to do it. My pos Dell laptop refuses to reconize my burner.

Ok thanks guys. I just erased and reloaded the bin and it is fixed now. I guess it was'nt such a big problem after all.
