^For the N1 manifold, they have different thermal spacer kits from the stock SR20VE intake manifold correct? I recently purchased the stock VE thermal spacer kit, but now I'm interested in getting the N1. What are the gains over the stock SR20VE?

The only spacers needed on a thermal kit is the one from head to intake manifold which is the same as the standard VE intake manifold and the TB spacer which is diffrent. The one in the middle is not needed at all.
